Frequently asked questions
What is Faro?
Faro brings operational knowledge to manufacturing teams: training, quick guides and answers linked to reviewed resources. We are exploring manufacturing pilots; the demo shows how your existing procedures could become easier to learn and find.
What knowledge can we bring into Faro?
Start with your existing PDFs, SOPs, work instructions, policies and checklists, or add instructions from your managers. Faro helps turn that material into accessible knowledge, so you do not have to write everything again or start with a blank course.
How does the knowledge become ready for the team?
Faro’s AI agents structure your content into practical training, quick guides and updates, keeping it connected to the source material. Managers review, edit and approve the resources before publishing them to the people who need them.
How does Ask Faro help during a shift?
Employees ask in their own words and get guidance from the plant’s approved knowledge available to them. They can open the linked resource to check the details or learn the procedure. When the available material does not cover a question, Faro makes that gap visible instead of inventing a plant policy.
Can employees use Faro on their phone and in their language?
Teams can open resources in a browser with no app to install, on devices permitted by your plant. Resources support English, Spanish, French and Portuguese. We can discuss device access and language needs in the demo.
What happens when information is missing or outdated?
Staff can flag what was unclear, missing or no longer matches how the work is done. Managers review that feedback and update the relevant resource. Unanswered questions and repeated searches also help them see where more guidance is needed. Staff feedback informs changes, while managers stay in control of what is published.
Is Faro only for onboarding and training?
No. Training is one way to use the knowledge. Employees can also find a quick guide, ask a question during a shift or revisit a resource they have already completed. The same knowledge stays useful as people learn the job and carry it out.
Does Faro replace hands-on training or our production systems?
No. Supervisors still coach operators, approve instructions and authorize work. Faro helps people find and learn from your approved knowledge. It does not control equipment, replace hands-on qualification, or integrate with your MES, ERP or maintenance system by default.
